Surface Materials Edition
The last 30 days have seen a total of 13 applications directly related to surface materials. Over the last 90 days, there have been a total of 40 applications indicating that application activity has remained steady when compared to the 3-month moving average.
Oil & Gas Activity
As for oil and gas activity in Alberta, there was a significant decrease of pipeline applications mid-way through March and April as everyone adjusted to COVID-19 and the low oil prices. However, the last week of April has seen an increase in activity potentially showing a return to pre-covid levels of applications.
